CLASH OF CLANS
Need: Eyestorm Creative wanted to collaborate with me to deliver YouTube content with high ROI for their client, Supercell. Four years ago, they brought me on board to help with ideation and scripting on a project, which has turned into a thriving ongoing partnership.
Solution: I’ve ideated and scripted a variety of videos for Clash of Clans to promote new skins, seasons, events, and more. Because these were released as an organic part of the CoC YouTube channel, these videos required a strategic balancing of entertainment, fan service, community nourishment, and driving to purchase—what I like to call a “soft conversion.”
When writing and collaborating with the team, I had to constantly search for new, creative ways to utilize provided assets, often having to express a given theme in a way that would be most appealing to the CoC fanbase. Some videos were full narratives, on one I wrote a song, and others were just a vibe.
