Deadpool was taking over MTV, and MTV needed an announcement. Deadpool had already come out of the gate with a brand voice that couldn’t be ignored, so I made a challenge to lean into this voice with reckless abandon. Because if you want each new commercial, teaser, and social media post to continue being unignorable, you need to keep ratcheting things up to the next level (without getting cancelled, of course. That’s the real trick of the trade.)
