The B2B brand built to outlast the Enterprise AI hype cycle

Moving a startup from stealth to public by merging a founder-led
identity with an enterprise-ready framework

CLIENT: A formerly stealth startup in Enterprise AI that provides an all-encompassing data solution to large-scale enterprises.

PROBLEM: After securing a Series A funding round, this startup needed to go from stealth mode to a clearly defined brand aimed directly at customers, and they needed to launch fast. But with tech capable of shaping the future of Enterprise AI, they also needed a strategy that could evolve with the times.

SOLUTION: A customized Strategy Sprint designed to establish high customer confidence in a low-trust economy. This included a flexible brand foundation that could adapt as the industry continued to shift, while mapping onto a website that both accomplished this company’s immediate goals and set up their plans for the future.

THE RESULTS

Thanks to an AI-backed workflow and a psychology-driven approach to strategy, Arcfire is a one-man operation that delivers the value of a small agency. That’s how this client was able to receive an enterprise-first brand pivot leading to record-high customer acquisition while retaining budget for a highly polished, founder-led Hero Video (green lit after the delivery of Arcfire’s strategy.)

As for the website, it achieved the number one SEO ranking for “AI [COMPANY NAME]” without this Enterprise AI company having to invest in dedicated SEO research or hire a costly agency.

THE STRATEGY

In order to smooth out the client’s runway to launch, Arcfire folded its multi-stage Brand Intake Workshop into a single meeting while simultaneously undergoing research and analysis.

Data from research and creative exercises led to the Strategy Sprint: an accelerated, AI-enhanced process designed to get straight to the core of this startup’s true brand identify, help clarify their high-priority goals, and give them exactly what they needed to launch their website ASAP.

Along with delivering insights, future-proofing, tone of voice exploration, and much more, Arcfire innovates by customizing its workshop and deliverables to each client. In this case, we presented a visual-first Language Ecosystem — this allowed the team to visualize and agree on what industry terminology we wanted to use, stay away from, and invent or own.

THE POSITIONING

Research showed that major competitors had brands that were either a faceless corporate entity or a founder-led brand placing more focus on being “next-gen” than trustworthy.

Arcfire’s answer was positioning this client as the right balance of “founder-led” and “enterprise-first.” With the CEO being uniquely articulate and charismatic, we could feature him in video, while having all external copy and communications act as a USP-focused bridge to a more personable face. We then implemented a results-driven copy formula that subtly planted the seeds for a customer-founder relationship.

For product language, Arcfire helped create a word bank of terminology focusing on “real-world resources,” “water as a resource” and “data purification.” All terms laddered up to a singular, highly ownable phrase: [available in full case study.]

Along with updating mission and vision statements, Arcfire also proposed value propositions. This highly collaborative process resulted in three pillars that were featured on the homepage.

For our hybrid “founder-enterprise” copy architecture to work, we needed to let our CEO introduce his company, his way. Guiding the pre-production process, Arcfire’s Taylor Stephens served as scriptwriter and creative director for a Hero Video that would go at the top of the homepage.

THE VIDEO

THE HOMEPAGE

Working with the client’s in-house designer, Arcfire provided creative direction, copywriting, and messaging hierarchy while collaborating on layout, wire framing, and big-picture design.

With the CEO articulating their mission and core offering in our video, our tone of voice remained enterprise-first, with subtle turns-of-phrase and bold statements allowing bits of our founder’s personality to “peak through” the language.

For the design, we wanted a classy, streamlined look that indicated the premium quality of this company’s offering, using earthy colors that differentiated from the larger tech scene with a serene, relaxing feel that implicitly communicated trustworthiness.

With data privacy being a central focus, it was important that our messaging made customers feel empowered. For our CTA, the simple addition of the word “back” indicates that businesses have a right to full control over their data — these products just help them unlock what they’ve been unable to properly purify and utilize.

HARVEST

Our three product pages were broken down in a sleek acronym format: “HUE.” Like an approachable version of a mathematical equation, this acronym softly hints at our founder’s academic background.

For The Harvest Platform page, we used simple, clean iconography with minimal text, transforming a highly complex technology platform into an intuitive, results-driven tool that any enterprise could wield.

U-AI

Enterprise AI brands tend to promote power and next-gen capability. We chose to focus on clear benefit and ease-of-use, while positioning ourselves as the enterprise-friendly solution to the privacy-neglecting world currently championed by OpenAI and Anthropic.

EXCHANGE

While Harvest and U-AI were revolutionary products ready to solve today’s problems, Exchange was focused purely on empowering businesses to conquer the future.

This was a complex challenge: a product that was the architecture for corporations to safely and privately monetize their own assets, while also being the foundation for the data market itself.

Maintaining our minimalist approach, we stripped the language down to exactly what the customer needed to hear. Then we set the stage for the future. Matching our tonal shift with an invigorating shift in color, we closed out by prompting VCs and CEOs to imagine how Exchange would unlock a new world of revenue, innovation, and control for their business.
